We invite guests to dress in romantic Sunday best, as if attending a beautiful church service or elegant daytime celebration.

Flowing dresses, soft fabrics, suits, sport coats, and ties are all wonderful choices. To complement the atmosphere of the day, we encourage a palette of soft pastels, sage, dusty blue, deep burgundy and warm neutrals.

For those who have kindly asked about a registry, we have chosen to create a honeymoon fund in lieu of traditional gifts. As we begin our life as husband and wife, we would be honored by contributions toward experiences and memories we’ll carry with us long after the wedding day.

Guests are warmly welcomed to arrive beginning at 11:00 AM. Upon entering, you’ll be invited to settle in, take in the space, and prepare for the ceremony.​
11:30 AM– Ceremony
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30 AM. The service will be intimate, traditional, and thoughtfully brief — centered simply on the moment we become husband and wife.
12:00 PM – Brunch Reception
Following the ceremony, please join us for a relaxed and romantic brunch reception.
1:45 PM – Closing Toast
Before the afternoon concludes, we’ll gather briefly to raise a glass in gratitude for your presence on this unforgettable day.

For those who don’t know the full story, it didn’t begin with a chance encounter — it began in July 2021 with a Bumble match, a forgotten notification, and a second chance. When the clock ran out, Ryan extended it. She replied — and everything changed.

They met that Thursday at Juniper Moon in Des Moines for what was meant to be a casual drink. It wasn’t. Evenings together became routine, the app was quietly deleted, and less than a month later they took a spontaneous road trip to Colorado Springs. Somewhere between mountain views and long conversations, they both knew something real was unfolding.

A few adventures later, Ryan planned one more — to South Dakota. From the Badlands to Mount Rushmore to a quiet cabin in Hot Springs, the trip was unforgettable. That evening, under the pretense of focusing a drone, he got down on one knee. It was thoughtful, private, and perfectly them.
