Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global movement meant to unleash the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This event takes place every year to motivate people to give back to the organizations they support.

The PKD Foundation participates in the event every year to inspire its community to donate to the foundation and help fund PKD research.

 

For this campaign, I was responsible for the conceptualization, planning, and execution of all marketing.

GOAL:

  • Raise $18,000

  • Gain 10 new volunteers

 

RESULTS:​

  • Raised $45,028.88

    • ​97 donations from first time donors

  • Gained 22 new volunteers

  • Gained 27 new peer mentors

Giving Tuesday Following years

2018

  • Planned and managed a digital campaign that brought in over $40,000, the largest amount record in PKDF history from a Giving Tuesday campaign.

2019

  • Planned and managed a digital campaign that brought in over $18,000 in donations, the second-largest amount to be generated at the time.

2020

  • Planned and managed a digital campaign that brought in over $15,000 in donations during the beginning of the pandemic.
